Four Part Breathing of the Tao

Per portion

Time:

10 mins

Ingredients

    Tips

    For inner peace and strength

    Instructions

Come into a heel seat or cross-legged position.
Place the palms together in front of the chest and inhale.
As you exhale, push the arms forward in slow motion but keep the hands against each other.

When the arms are stretched forward, turn the palms upwards and begin to curl one finger at a time from the little finger to the thumb while breathing in.

Keep a flowing movement and also bend the wrists and elbows while exhaling.

Now push the arms to the side at shoulder height while breathing in; open the palms upwards and roll the hands back in while exhaling.

Then, while breathing in, bring the hands forward again and let a very flowing and soft movement develop. Imagine taking in energy through your hands as you inhale.
