– Clean and wash the cauliflower and cut into florets. Cook in salted water for approx. 15 minutes.
– Drain and collect the vegetable water.
– Finely chop the onion and sauté in oil. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Flavour with salt, pepper and thyme. Stir in the peas.
– Heat the fat and sauté the flour. Stir in the milk and cauliflower water and bring to the boil. Stir in the processed cheese. Flavour with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
– Put the mince and cauliflower in an ovenproof dish. Pour over the sauce. Grate the cheese and sprinkle on top.
– Bake in a preheated oven (180°C fan oven) for approx. 15 minutes.
