Little tools to eat slower and appreciate more your food

    Always eat sitting at the table.

    Both feet flat on the floor.

    Take three deep breaths: use all your senses to eat and pay attention to each of your senses. Just focus on eating and enjoying your food.

    Remove all forms of distraction: TV, computer, book, newspaper,…

    Try to eat without talking to anyone: just being concentrated on your meal.

    Eat with the non-usual hand.

    Chew each bit at least 15 times (more is difficult at first).

    Place down the cutlery from time to time.

    Always keep both feet flat on the floor.
